- Timezone Map - Ever wonder what the deal with timezones is? So do I, but this map helps to at least see how they fit together
- Native Land - A fantastic map resource for learning about the traditional territories of Indigenous peoples from all around the world
- City Population - A global compendium of census and other population data for every country in the world
- Earth Rocks - A map of tectonic plates and other geological data, rendered on a globe
- Ancient Earth Globe - See how Earth's continents have moved over the past 750 million years, on a globe
- Maps of North American Continent - An article with a long series of images, showing a reconstructed history of the North American plate over the past 550 million years
- The Age of Borders - (Warning: huge image) An enormous and detailed map that shows how long ago the world's international borders were first defined

- Epitaph - An interesting little browser game about the Fermi paradox
- WikiArena - Test your knowledge of Wikipedia by guessing which of two random articles (of which you only see a snippet) are longer or more popular
- Universal Paperclips - This extremely plain-looking clicker game actually has quite a lot going for it
